Power Stance: Falchion or Scimitar?

Started up a character, and I've decided to go for a power stance to mix things up. Estoc in right, curved sword in left. Quite a comical combo, lots of variety. I'm leaning towards the falchion in the offhand, and looking at the stats, it ends up with better damage at +10. Or should I pop in an extra dex point and use the scimitar? Scimitar is the most popular of the curved swords I've seen, but why is that? Does it have some advantage over the falchion that I'm not aware of?

Note: I'm aware of the bleed on the falchion. Does the bleed wind up being a detriment whenever infusions are added?

Actually, the best curved sword is definitely the warped sword. The rest of them are toys.

The scimitar and falchion are nearly identical in AR, even at high dex.

Yes the falchions bleed damage makes it so it doesn't infuse well. If you are going to infuse/buff, go with the scimitar.

Everyone and their mother uses the Warped Sword. No idea where you got your Scimitar-"meta" from.

The Bleed-attribute of the Falchion sucks. Bleed in general does. Just ignore it. Oh and yeah, it'll make infusions weird.

Another fun curved sword is the red rust scimitar. Downside is that is is relatively heavy for a cs, and it scales with str instead of the usual dex. It hits quite hard though.
