If you are a *completionist,* strap in cause you'll be here a while:
1000 successful invasions will get you the ring of thorns +2
1000 successful blue invasions will get you the bellowing dragoncrest +2
but they exist so you have to get them! jk don't really
the ring of thorns is a pvp thing. The +2 version sends out throns 70% of the time, so it can easily break up combo or make trades way more favorable for you. its a bit OP.
the two invisibility rings are the same - they exist, but they are pvp oriented (obviously), and even then any experiences player won't care too much if your weapon is invisible. He can see what it is as soon as you attack with it.
That sorcery exists in this game, too - rank 2 reward for the Bell Keeper covenant.
My guess is that it exists to make your weapons *permanently* invisible until the rings are removed. That way, you can switch weapons without your weapon suddenly becoming visible again.
lol how do you have that many hours and call ring of thorns +2 op? It's absolutely terrible buddy
Parry-spam will just get you backstabbed.
In that case, it doesnt matter if he is using a spear, he would get parried because he is bad, not because of the spear.
