Drive to Hell patch notes - last updated February 11th, 2015
February 11th - v2.0.5
  • HUD icons now update correctly when changing controls mid-game
  • Removed controller option from menu when no controllers detected
  • Fixed minor tiling error during some background transitions

February 10th - v2.0.4
  • New explosion animation
  • New coin pick-up animation
  • New vehicle special ready animation

February 6th
  • Linux build released!

February 5th - v2.0.3
  • Fixed survival mode vehicle being stuck to whatever vehicle is stored in saved campaign game
  • Fixed survival mode timer continuing to update during game over screen
  • Fixed survival mode timer allowing player to skip over levels in campaign mode
  • A few sound effects have been updated and/or replaced

February 1st - v2.0.2
  • Controller support has been completely reworked to support a much larger library of controllers. Please see the controller support thread for more information
  • Removed ability to alter player 1 controller settings while in-game playing multiplayer due to controller assignment restrictions

January 31th - v2.0.1
  • Fixed rare bug where enemy projectiles could stop on-screen
  • Fixed controller ability to move cursor to invisible Mirror Mode button on Continue screen
  • Fixed audio bug that occurred if a bomb was used to kill minions of level 2 boss
  • Taurus's homing missile ability sped up to be more effective
  • Beating the game on a harder difficulty now unlocks achievements for easier ones
  • Save for Virgo special ability, enemies no longer drop coins once you've purchased everything

January 30th - v2.0
  • Launched on Steam for Windows and OSX

I think there is a bug in survival mode, no matter which vehicle I've selected, it still spawned as the same vehicle I play in campaign mode.

Another bug in survival mode, it's about achievements. It seems the timer did not stop counting when you die, I failed level 5 at 5:47 but after a couple seconds the achievement still popped for me.

ABSORB 12 ENEMIES WITH A SINGLE TAURUS POLARITY.


There is a typo for this achievement, it should be 'Aries' instead of 'Taurus'.

Anywhere I can find a description of what Mirror Mode does/is?

Fun game btw, reminds me of the old Twin Cobra/Sky Shark style games.

Mirror Mode allows you to play through the levels with all of the wave data reversed. It's a way to remix the gameplay a bit and in some cases makes it way tougher!
