I think the Yooka-Laylee games have a fantastic, cartoony art style that would work great for a kart racer. I understand that it's not easy to make a game as detailed as modern Mario Kart games, and that the developers might want to avoid those comparisons, but every kart racer will get compared to Mario Kart no matter what. I wish they had just gone all out and used the art style for the mainline games. Regardless, I'll be picking this up....

Campaign, take inspiration from Diddy Kong Racing. Silver coins, adventure 2 which makes the silver coins even harder to get, mirror mode, secrets. Come up with new stuff. I don't care about multiplayer, only solo play. I'm sure many others feel similarly. If this is just going to be a simple race and win without any cool stuff that was invented over 20 years ago in DKR, I'll pass. Oh and DO NOT use rubberbanding!...
