Meow~ Greetings, all Gladiator Cats!

We’ve received tons of amazing feedback during Steam Next Fest, and we’re so grateful for all your support, meow~ We’ve been hard at work polishing the game, and this update focuses on balancing High-Rank Terrafist, improving weapon controls, refining keybinding, and fixing a bunch of bugs!

Weapon Adjustments

Dual Blades , Sword & Shield: Adjusted A3 move speed and boosted normal attack damage.
Harp: Tuned numerical values and sped up jump animation.

Combat Balances

High-Rank Terrafist: Reduced overall damage by approximately 15%.
Terrafist Tail Cut: Lowered tail cut damage by approximately 35%.
HpPotion Cooldowns:
- HpPotion: 40s → 35s
- HpPotionG: 60s → 45s

Other Optimizations

Controller UI: Mapped Y button to A for smoother controls!
Keybinding: Added UI key support and conflict resolution.
Cat Manual: Improved reading experience.
Camera: Optimized lock-on camera behavior.

Bug Fixes

Fixed the "Jump Slash" end animation issue for LongSword Jump Slash.
Resolved missing damage cases for LongSword "Jump Slash" in most scenarios.
Fixed abnormal damage calculation when multiple monsters overlap.
Corrected keybinding failure caused by accidental UI interaction during rebinding.
Fixed unhidden HP issue for Volthorn in the beginner tutorial.
Resolved button switching failure after item use is interrupted.
Fixed dialogue glitch when talking to NPC Eggie for the first time after defeating BeeMoth.

NextFest Feedback

Fantastic little slice you have. I must say though, the unfairness of being one-shot by legit everything the HR Terra mob does is definitely unfun though. Even with the HP fish buff anything beside one of the rocks is a one-shot. (For the record I hate this type of stuff in MH, too.) Hope to see you guys expand this out further....

Fun game! Got my brother to try out "monster hunter"

Initially offput by the graphic look of the game, was pleasantly surprised when I got in the game to see how "faithful" it is to the monster hunter gameplay. Weapons, traps, dodging, sheathing, potions all felt really like I was playing a little monster hunter simulator. I like the weapon upgrading, seeing new armors after hunting a new monster etc. The fishing system is also pretty fun, you unlock new fish to buy (?) after fishing them for the first time, and you can get monster parts from the fishing asw...

This game rules! Gotta glaze for a bit

Great execution on the 2D Hunting Game concept! Very satisfying to control and defeat harder monster. Im too much of a scub to defeat the bee yet but ill get there :D I wanted to place Rush to RB like it is in Monster Hunter. but if i place right item to LT then menus freak out when switching tabs :D They probably do that on either trigger. Just as a tiny bug report. No idea what else to add as Feedback. When content comes in this will be awesome. I would pay 20-30$ for this easily if you have enough co...

Demo 0.5 Update: New Dual-Boss Quest, Fishing System, Fish Meal System & More

Meow~ Greetings! The legendary Steam Next Fest is almost here, and we’ve rushed to deliver more awesome content just in time for you all, meow!

Let me break it down!

New Additions

1. Added the hidden dual-boss quest "Nail and Hammer".

To unlock it: first get an S-rank clear on High-Rank BeeMoth to unlock High-Rank Terrafist, then defeat High-Rank Terrafist.

2. Completing the "Nail and Hammer" quest rewards you with a special drop: HamTicket, which lets you upgrade the Hamster Set weapons one more level.

3. Added a new weapon: Fishing Rod (?)

It’s normally for fishing, meow… but it seems you can also fight monsters with it!

4. Added the Fishing System — simple and relaxing fishing.

The rarer the fish, the bigger its size!

5. Added the Fish Meal System — don’t forget to eat fish before battle, meow!

Optimizations

- Reduced cat stamina recovery wait time (1.5 → 1.2)

- Greatsword now restores stamina while charging

- Reduced stamina cost for dodges with Cannon and Harp
