Version 2.0 Available Now!

It’s here—Version 2.0 is live and downloadable now!

As previously announced, I’ve been hard at work updating the core gameplay for Lustborn and adding a boatload of new content.

This is a passion project for me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to create something unique and fun. I truly hope Lustborn can steadily evolve into something unlike anything else out there.

WHAT’S NEW

With that in mind, here is what to expect from v2.0:

New “Challenges” mode: Featuring two new maps set in a virtual training facility. Check out the screenshots below!
New unlockable outfits: Earnable for players who beat the 3-star time in Challenges (requires the free "Latex & Lace Outfit Pack" DLC).
New achievements: Earn a new achievement for each 3-star result in Challenges Mode
New melee attack: Mia gains a knife attack, perfect for tight spaces and overly clingy enemies.
New enemy type: The "Slick," a flying enemy with a unique "grabbing" ability and attacks.
Improved pacing: Several new checkpoints (auto-save) added throughout the game.
Gameplay tuning & balance:
- re-balanced loot drops
- re-balanced loot boxes
- improved placement for Nanoskin Suit (requires "Mature Content Starter Pack" DLC)
- increased med kit value
Bug fixes: Several minor fixes and general tweaks.

VERSION CHECK

To ensure you have all the new content, look at the bottom right of the title screen. If it displays DLC1, DLC2, and Version 2.0.2 (or higher), you are all set!

Version 2.0 Featuring New Challenges Mode Incoming

Season’s greetings, everyone!

I’ve been hard at work on a HUGE update for Lustborn, and I’m excited to share the news just ahead of the holidays. A few months ago, I mapped out future updates in the form of free content and DLC. While the schedule has shifted a bit, I’m happy to say that most of what was planned is now coming together in the upcoming v2.0 release.

The best part? You won’t have to wait long—I’m currently testing a final build, with release planned in under two weeks!

SNEAK PEEK

From the very start of this project, my goal has been to create a fun, distinctive experience that continues to grow over time. As a solo developer, it’s always a challenge to know exactly what works, but through experimentation, persistence, and your feedback, I hope Lustborn can steadily evolve into something unlike anything else out there.

With that in mind, here are a few highlights coming in v2.0:

New “Challenges” game mode, featuring two brand-new maps set in a virtual training facility
Two new unlockable outfits for players who beat the 3-star time in the Challenges (requires the free Outfit DLC)
Mia gains a new melee knife attack, perfect for tight spaces and overly clingy enemies
Gameplay tuning and balance changes, including difficulty, loot drops, and med kit value

Lustborn Roadmap Q3-Q4 2025

If you checked out the latest updates in v1.2.0, you'll know that changes and updates to Lustborn are coming fast and furious.

In this post, I want to outline some of the future updates that will come in the form of regular updates and optional DLCs. The major highlight coming in Q4 is the new "Challenges" game mode, but don't sleep on the upcoming outfit pack or the enemy/weapon additions!

Fundamental Problem

So, if the game saved while low on HP and no medkit left, you are fckd... No other games ever did that, for a good reason, seriously, if you died and respawned at checkpoint, you should get to full HP. Also what is wrong with the character's face...

There aren't enough medical kits

The Skull, additional enemy with DLC, Appears immediately after the game starts, and is so tough, but supply of Medical Kit is too short. I can't break through the battle, and I can't recover or turn back, so I've restarted the game from the beginning many times. Could you please increase the supply of medkits or weaken the skulls?...

Some feedback

Some problems in the game are preventing me from enjoying it fully. And I hope you make some changes to the following: Let the character reload automatically when she empties her mag. It is so inconvenient when you're fighting in close quarter and can't shoot cuz of empty mag and the enemies close in on you. I suggest adding the option to hold shift (sprint) key to run. There were so many times I toggled running, and I stopped to shoot mobs and I tried to run again cuz the mobs were chasing me, I ended u...
