Please bring The Neverhood to Steam!

sadly, only DreamWorks Interactive has that power, as they probably have the rights to it, (they did publish it) its rare that devs have the rights to old games. so unless there is an agreement to release the game, its not going to happen.

I Guess I'll try asking my Friends at Night Dive Studios to get the rights to Redistribute The Neverhood since they got the rights to Redistribute System Shock 2 from EA.

I forgot about System Shock 2 and how long that was in limbo, and its nice to see that game on steam and else where. I suppose it might be possible to get Redistribute rights for games, as SS2 was owned by EA (but not sure if that game had a few owners?

worth a try maybe, I never played neverhood, one game I missed. would be nice if it did come to steam, but maybe try and contact GOG, (good old games) they might be able to help as well?

I just discovered that the Neverhood is now compatible with ScummVM!!!
ScummVM is a virtual machine to run Scumm games like Monkey Island and other click adventures. ScummVM is a great up to date emulator that runs on a lot of platforms, even Android!

I have tried it just now. Found my old Neverhood CD, copied the contents of the "data" folder. Added it to ScummVM and the game runs so smootly like on my old windows 95 machine :)

I Tried installing from that Download Link, didn't work for me unfortunetly (Incompatible with my OS it said, using Windows 10 BTW), I guess I'll have to "Hunt Down" a Copy on Amazon or eBay, or I could ask my Uncle if he still has his Copy of The Neverhood.

You have completely missed the ScummVM part.
I guess I have to be more precise and patient and provide links, but next time please search on the internet man ;)

You need two things:
1. The Neverhood files obtained from the original CD or any other source.
2. ScummVM application for your desired platform (Windows (yes it works on Windows 10, i have windows 10), Android, Linux...).
Here is the download link from official scummvm page: http://scummvm.org/downloads/

Put the "data" files of neverhood (all the .blb files) in a folder of your choice.
Install ScummVM. Run ScummVM. Add Game button on the right. Browse to your neverhood data folder and select it. Neverhood will appear in your games list in the ScummVM. Run the game and enjoy.

There are some ScummVM related options and even Neverhood related options for more adevanced users. Check them if you want.

Works perfectly fine with my links no need for any emulator.

That's because Windows 10 is a new OS which probably didnt get any patch from anybody for a Windows 95 game like The Neverhood. Maybe use that ScamVM LorDefix suggested.
