...Astropop doesn't save progress at all (Update: Fixed? ..Maybe?)

Really, I open up AstroPop and it asks me for a name to enter (this happened after I played the game for a while), and I do so. Then when I exit the game and come back it does the same thing!

I'm on Windows 10, but I honestly don't think the operating system is the issue, seeing how I actually played the game prior to the problem.. O~O

Having the same issue here. Just tested by making username when logging in, then changed users... and looked at list... neither one shows up on the delete user list. and first name is gone from the change user list only showing the current profile.

On my Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1 machine, it is saving progress and profiles correctly as of today, so it may very well be a Win 10 issue.

I'm on Win10 myself and their seems to be no save issues, or any other issues, on my end. Well. Except for one. When I go to turn on the Hardware Accelator Feature in game it tells me that my system doesn't meet the minimum requirement. O~o ..... Wert der ferk? I am running 32GB RAM, AMD FX Black Edition 3.7GhZ (I believe) CPU, and a freaking Nvidia GT(or GTX 960) 4 GB GPU. Though my system doesn't meet the minimum requirements.

Yes. I've done all of the standard procedures in checking issues with games. I even uninstalled it, deleted the micro files from Steam and my computer itself, redownloaded it, and it still does not save.

So was there ever going to be a fix for this? The first posting I see regarding the issue is over 2 & 1/2 years old. I like to think I'm patient, but...

Erm, I dunno if this was just me downloading the game or if an actual update happened. So far I've made a profile, exit and rejoined after a few days and my progress is still intact. This could fail at any moment but I thiiink it's safe to say that stuff is working again? c:

Starting steam in administrator mode as well as then starting the game in administrator mode worked for me.

I'm on windows 10: I can't run the game in admisitrative mode b/c it doesn't have that option.

there should be an administrator mode... if you locate the files of the game and right click on the application and hit properties, and then find the box that says run in adminstrator mode in the compatibility tab, it should work....

I did the admin thing to "WinAP" in the astro pop folder .. NOT the steam client exe..
it looks like it worked .. is the fix permanent or do I have to run it as admin EVERY time I run the game ...? it didn't work at frst... it said "missng steam.dll" so I copy pasted a copy from the steams main folder...

That's one way to fix it I guess, but the way I fix it is to just lauch steam as administator, then launch the game as administrator.
