WARNING! Netlimiter will get you banned. (victim)
If, like me, you have to manage what programs use what internet (to increase game performance due to 6mbps internet) then you need to make sure that you do NOT run this.

My account has just been banned for this very reason.

Again, take care guys; the lemmings at nexon are banning you for legit programs.

Oh and please note, no-where does it mention that this is the program causing the issue.

Many thanks and all the best.

Yeah, but who reads that when running legit programs?

and when i put "no-where does it mention that this is the program causing the issue." i meant when you try to log... and also you have to understand i've played it before with no issue whilst NL was running, so it was an update that made this happen.

Sigh.

Wish they would ban for cheats and hacks instead of ♥♥♥♥ like that.

Yeah, this.

Legit players getting banned and decent hacks getting through; go figure.

Go nexon, go.

a streamer got 24h ban from MM for leaving a game because it was full of hackers... meanwhile there are lvl30+ hackers who are hacking since closed beta and noone bats an eye. not a bright future imo

Netlimiter monitors your net traffic. If they allowed programs that do this as 'legal' in the game then you're opening the door for a packet-sniffing program that would allow wall-hacks and things of that nature into the game.

There's no way for an anti-cheat program to tell the difference between a 3rd party program that is monitoring your net traffic to improve performance vs. a 3rd party program that is monitoring your net traffic so that it can feed you the positions of all the enemy players.

Yeah i didnt play it much so not overly upset... just a bit outraged at their mental logic.

Its odd to me that if this is the case then i havent been banned before. Ive played with netlimiter for around 5 years and never been banned once. If the big anticheats dont think its a threat... its probably not.

This isn't even remotely close to true. Cheaters get banned pretty quickly in the game. But like every FPS there will be a lot of them. I'm level 33 and I get "hackusations" tossed at me all the time by people like you because you haven't taken the time to learn the game or get as experienced and the easy route is to just say everyone is cheating.
