herbs in terinyo wont grow?
i planted 2 2x2 herb patches in terinyo with gardening, they grew to the next stage, but after harvesting 1 field completly they are not regrowing.
i thought once i plant herbs the whole level will change to a herb supporting one - or do i have to wait for the herbs to grow past the 1rst stage and dont touch the 1rst stage?

I don't think you can grow herbs in outside areas, only in dungeon levels which support herb growth.

what is the point of gardening then? the adom guidebook says it is like i tought it is, but not sure about the current version

You should be able to, did you use the holy potion method, or just planted them normally.

i planted them by applying gardening skill.
they were growing to next stage, but once harvested completly, they wont grow back (i just harvested 1 of the 2x2 spot)

Should work in Terinyo. I tried to check changelog and version history, but didn't find anything that would hint it being removed.

Some old forum post said that it only works in village elder's room in Terinyo. Could be older version, I have never grown herbs in Terinyo so can't say personally.

Yeah, I believe herb plants only develop on floor tiles. So, planting them on "grass" won't have the desired results.

You can apply gardening on a herb bush to gather herb seeds which can be planted on a floor that supports herb growth. Pretty handy to make a digged big room a herb garden.

ok i just made it so that i waited herbs to grow to next stage, which takes a bit longer than with regular herb cycles, but still ok.
