Question on Alignment

Trying not to piss my Neutral god off with too much grave robbing.

Is a character with NC considered chaotic? Or does he or she need to get all the way to CN?

NC, N-, N=, N+, NL -Neutral;
LN, L, L+ -Lawful.

Amulet of balance helps to keep neutral aligment.
