Main Menu "Help" and "Network Game" Options Not Working in ASCII Mode

Hi everyone. I recently downloaded the new version 2.3.6 of ADOM, and when I load it up and get to the main menu, I'm finding a lot of the help buttons for the various game modes, plus the button for Network Game, simply aren't working.

To be specific, I am in ASCII mode (the default when the game booted up off a fresh install with the new patch). I press 'p' to play, which navigates to the main menu. Here's a picture for clarification: https://imgur.com/a/fIok9

From there I can press a lot of different letters to access different game modes and menus. All of these work for me except "network game" (n). Also, none of the "help" options work (T,S,P,W,X, and N). What seems to happen is that the flashing keyboard cursor at the bottom-right (next to "for help") simply goes away. At this point I can press Escape to get the cursor back and resume normal functionality, but until I do that the game accepts no other input.

I can only assume some kind of help window should be displaying when I press these buttons, but instead nothing shows and it was quite confusing for me the first time around. I tried in Tiles mode and I'm having no such issues.

I'm curious if anyone else can replicate this or if it's just me. I'm a long time fan of ADOM and greatly appreciate your work! :)

Can you give us some details on your operating system, version, etc.? So far it only seems to be you from what I can see from feedback we receive... which is kind of strange.

If you are Linux please provide us with detailed info on distribution, version, etc.

I have the same issues (I made a thread in the Bug Reports subforum about it, I'm not sure if it was noticed) and also have the issues that I cannot press '<' to go upstairs (also in ASCII mode). Do you have the same problem too?
