2 nope, no such content, the only content you can miss is a true ending if you would not find some items during gameplay, but you can replay it and find everything.
2 nope, no bonuses, no connection to anything
This achievement was taken out of the PS4 version at the request of the publisher, Wayforward, though I still don't get why they took it out instead of renaming it. For my self-published Switch version it's been changed to "Thunderkitty is Go!" to avoid possible trademark infringement.
The switch version also has two additional achievements - "Hooligan!" (knock out the hall monitor), and "Explorer" (100% map completion). These achievements will be added to the Steam version with the next update, hopefully this year.
All in all, currently the Switch build is the most complete, and the PS4 is the closest to the initial 2015 release, missing many enhancements and quality of life features (the game sold very poorly and any update will require the publisher invest in QA, which they aren't ready to do).
Currently, the Switch version has a few minor polish and quality-of-life fixes. Off the top of my head:
- Music and Sound volume are represented with slider bars instead of numbers.
- The game starts the Continue menu with cursor placed over last-played game file.
- There is a quick scripted scene to draw player attention to the raccoon lair.
- Raccoons only steal garbage (red herring) items from your inventory.
- Minor platform positioning changes to make certain jumps less annoying.
- Altered behavior for 3 or 4 enemies (to reduce the number of sine-wave-flying types)
- Altered a line of dialogue for a location that becomes relevant later in the game.
- A few super minor dialogue changes.
- 2 new achievements.
- REMOVED: All fan-translation languages. The game only ships with English and Russian. This will not be done on Steam version, as, if I remember correctly, there might've been Nintendo-specific reasons for doing this.
As previously mentioned - I already have this version for Steam, all it needs is some testing. Can we have a toggle option to restore old racoon behavior (maybe under some cryptic name to not spoil it for new people, like ???? stealing behavior: garbage only \classic? He was annoying but it was fun when he steals important items! I dont like this simplification when he steals non important things which makes racoon non important as well.
There are "missable" achievements, but they are geared toward doing a quick second run:
