Look here for my LDD-Creations for LEGO Worlds:

Currently due to issues with the LXFML file format the game only outputs a full .lxfml file if you are running in DX11 mode, presumably you are running DX9? The .sav file is an internal compressed version of the LXFML file that can be shared and others can load but isn't compatible with LDD. If you were to export the model while using DX11 it should output a full LXFML file along side.
A proper server browser would be an ace in the hole feature that Minecraft does not offer.

somehow it only shows me colorless white bricks, i cannot choose another color. then again im new to this lego digital builder... pls help
In LDD-(Basic) the brick-palette has only 1 color (grey).
Use the LDD-Extended and load the palette as modell you can see all available bricks.
Pick the brick wit clone-tool und put/bild in free area. Now you can colored the bricks.
One question I have, once the basic bricks have been implemented. Is there any chance we will see functional Technic bricks within the game? At least gears maybe?
Technic bricks, we will see, the aim is to work towards getting the full library of basic building blocks in first, then see where the community wants to take us. We have people keeping an eye on these forums and compiling stuff that the community really want to see then we can roadmap those things in.
