Can't type C, U or 4 (updated)
trying to name a world I notice it is impossible to use the letter U Or C without the game removing every letter before and after.

Ex: naming a world Canada or Hulky home is impossible. In fact any words with the lettle U or C at the beginning will remove all letter no matter what.

But for words with C or U in it may or may not remove every letter.
number are also remove.

I notice it since space dlc.

Thanks for your help to find other letter(s) and number(s) that can't be use in game.

Here the list.

A
C
R
U
4

This has been reported a few times, the current ways around it are controller-typing and copy/paste. Hopefully we will see a fix for this sooner than later...
How do you use the controller for typing?

I don't know if this applies for PC as well, but if your last input was a controller an on-screen keyboard should pop-up. =)
no doesn't work on pc

The Bug is confirmed for PC and keyboard, also some numbers are not possible to enter - the "4" for example cleans the complete field (mentioned yesterday, as I wanted to visit a new planet, which was suggest here). In the moment I left a txt.file open on my desktop - enter HERE the numbers or code and copy it in the fields. Works - but it IS a bug
Thanks for the info the more we get the better.

I know c only has to be in the word to reset the test string (was trying to write balcony) to label a temporary brickbuild element/structure.

I have also having this problem with c, a, and r when saving an item after using the copy tool.

Could it be linked to the keyboard drivers in use? I'm using Razer driver 6.2.9200.16385 and I'd not noticed this issue.
thanks for the info.

still waiting for the bug to be fixed... i'm very frustrated with the fact that I can't type the number 74 (for example). And they just seem not to care about this SIMPLE bug!
maybe the bug isn't simple to fix... But yeas it should be fix by now.

Perhaps we shall make a list for the devs.

On PC I am using a Logitech K120 - Microsoft Driver 6.0.6000.16386 for Vista, complete mistakes as above mentioned

I came here to report this bug. I've only noticed not being able to type C, but I also can't enter the characters "reet", so I can't name any of my brick builds "street". My guess is this is supposed to be blacklisted profanity, but I've never heard of "reet" and it's rather silly that I can't call my streets "streets".

I'm using an Insignia keyboard, not sure what model. Driver doesn't have a listed name, its version is 10.0.16299.15. I'm using Windows 10.

Also came here to say that I'm impressed with how much the game has been improving. I stopped playing before because I had too many brick builds I'd saved and I couldn't sort through them - and now they have a search bar! People screamed for multiplayer at launch, and they added multiplayer, which I know is a very difficult addition for any game which wasn't designed around it. Normally I wouldn't bother to post a bug report but I have faith that the devs here actually care and are working to fix the bugs and improve the game.
I'll never stop play the game but please fix it.
