White Screen Crash
After the cutscene the game just goes to white. There's music but only a white screen. Not even waiting helps.

Mine has been freezing with a white screen and music playing as well, thought not exactly the same... While playing, everything seems to lag once or twice (waiting works in these cases) and then the game becomes completely unresponsive. Even alt+f4 doesn't work to close it, and since the game has complete focus, hitting ctrl+alt+del and bringing up Task Manager to force the game closed doesn't work. I sometimes have to restart the PC to get it out of the deadlock when it happens. It's been doing this more as I explore larger (medium sized) worlds.

Basic system info:
CPU: Core i5-6300HQ @ 2.30GHz (laptop) RAM: 8GB DDR4 Windows Version: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 15063) DirectX Version: 12 Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M 6GB (2GB Dedicated, 4GB Shared) Audio: Realtek High Definition Audio Input: Xbox One controller via Bluetooth

Game settings:
Screen Resolution: 1920x1080 (native display resolution) Refresh Rate: 60Hz Vertical Sync: On Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Texture Quality: High DirectX Version: 11 Windowed Mode: Off FSAA: On Shadow Quality: Medium Depth of Field: On Motion Blur: On Ambient Occlusion: On

I checked the game integrity, and the files checked out fine. Performance seems to be great aside from the random occurrences of the lag + white screen freeze when it happens, so I wouldn't think it would be a game/graphics setting causing the problems. Hope this helps fix some of these problems! If the devs would like a full dxdiag or anything, feel free to contact me and I'll send you one.

Hmm. I noticed a similar lag/freeze happened with LEGO Marvel Super Heroes every so often too. After doing a bit of preliminary testing, it seems that using the Xbox One controller was causing freezing in that game, and it happened MUCH more frequently. Switching to the Xbox 360 for Windows adaptor and wireless controllers for that fixed the problem. The same exact thing seems to happen in LEGO Worlds - Xbox One controller via Bluetooth causes severe lag and freezing at times, and the Xbox 360 controllers do not. Further, there seems to be an IMMEDIATE performance boost using the 360 pads instead of the XB1 pad. No lag in hitting buttons, skipping the cutscene is immediate (there seemed to be a lag or something with the XB1 pad), and the game just generally "feels" like it runs faster. Both are official licensed MS products.

Devs - might want to look into this and see if there might be something old in the input code causing the issue with Bluetooth input devices/gamepads. Also, if there's anything you think can record the difference in both input devices on the same machine, please let me know. I'd be happy to help debug this problem!
