Crash bug reporting (+DxDiag)
Hi all!

Thank you to all the people that have taken the time to report issues on LEGO Worlds. We have many team members reading through the forums, picking out details and making notes. In order to get the most out of your feedback it would really help if we could start separating bug reporting into different areas. It would also be extremely useful if we can get detailed and accurate machine specs from you guys (and girls).

Crash, Freeze, Hang and similar issues
Please use this thread to report any stability issues you've experienced. In addition to the machine specs (see below) it would help if you could give some some additional information (e.g. running DX11 version, stability only bad after playing for X minutes, etc).

Machine Specs
Please use DxDiag to collect information about your machine. If you're not already familiar with it, DxDiag is a tool provided by Microsoft that collects information about your machine (CPU, GPU, memory, etc) and allows you to save it as a single text file.

You can run DxDiag as follows :
  • Press Windows Key + R
  • type dxdiag
  • when the tool is up & running, click Save All Information
  • save the file somewhere where you can find it (e.g. your Desktop)

The information in dxdiag.txt is quite long (many pages) so it's not always convenient to copy & paste it in a forum post. You can use of the available free text sharing sites to make the specs available to us, e.g.

{ลิงก์ถูกลบแล้ว}
{ลิงก์ถูกลบแล้ว}

If you want to post your specs directly onto the forums, can you please copy & paste the first 80 lines or so from it (up to and include Device ID).

Many thanks & keep building!

Vassilis

Hello,

You should be able to adjust the resolution by entering the config file:
โพสต์ดั้งเดิมโดย ttcrose:
This issue has had a suggested workaround of the following:

C:\Users\NAME_HERE\AppData\Roaming\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\LEGOWorlds

Open the pcconfig.txt file using wordpad and manually change the screen resolution to;

ScreenWidth 1280
ScreenHeight 720
WindowWidth 1280
WindowHeight 720

You can then change the resolution back ingame.
http://steamcommunity.com/app/332310/discussions/0/615085406675329008/#c615085406675366225

Note: It should work if you set it to your native resolution.

Please be aware that this game is in early access, and will run into glitches. If you are not willing to handle the potential bugs, please refund the game and consider buying it after its official release.
Since a couple of days, I am not able to start the (loaded) game :(
The game starts - i choose the "land" and the rotating piese is shown "Lädt" (=loading). After some time it stops - and the game crashes and goes back to the steam-page or desktop. Nothing was changed, I was able to play even after the latest patch with Win Vista Home and DirectX9b - but now nothing? It is an rather old and BIG map - and I remember, that I entered the area, I started long ago...
Hello,

only getting a black screen when trying to launch the game, have tried uninstalling and re-installing the game.

The game just goes into a black screen after initial start up. I get the splash screen stating WB and TT Games, but then after, it's just complete darkness.

Tried verifying cache and reinstalling the game, neither worked.

I'm running two GTX 770s (SLI), Core i5-4690k @ Stock and 8GB RAM (2x4GB @ 1600 Mhz). Motherboard is MSI Z97-G55 SLI.

Mine hangs or crashes frequently. It seems to happen a lot when clearing off blackened portions of the map.

Game crashes,that's all,it stops,and then the screen goes to black.
My specs:

Graphic card: GTS 250

Processor: Intel Core 2 CPU 6420 2.13GHz

RAM: 4,00 GB
I love how I've been unable to play since last November due to crashing after a min or two of gameplay and the devs completely ignore my issue. Some real awesome customer support there.
it just keeps crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing
for the first time ever since I purchased the game (I guess back in April last year) I get a black screen (I believe after updating Windows 10 where it, (for the first time as well) updated its DirectX11 do DirectX12!) and I am not sure if config.txt can change that or where can I test DX-9 version since I can't even launch the game's menu to change to DX9...

Hi Lego Worlds My Game Frezzes About Every 30 - 60 Sec
Then It Fixes Its Self. Then I Redose Everything Again Hears My Specs

Just grabbed this game and was quite excited to create some unique models in brick bulding mode but everytime I try and use the copy function the game force quits without warning.

For example I create a row of bricks then copy, it saves then i can place the same row over and over. However I can only place a few or so then it quits EVERYTIME. Very dissapopining given that this building mode was the big selling point for me.
After a while of playing Lego Worlds my computer will shut down completely with no "Window is Shutting Down" message and the fans in my computer will go silent, it will then turn back on and start Windows as though nothing has happened. I'm worried that this might happen during an update or while something is saving and corrupt something. I have a GTX 750 TI, an i5-4460, 8GB of ddr3 ram, and dx12
