Crash bug reporting (+DxDiag)
Hi all!

Thank you to all the people that have taken the time to report issues on LEGO Worlds. We have many team members reading through the forums, picking out details and making notes. In order to get the most out of your feedback it would really help if we could start separating bug reporting into different areas. It would also be extremely useful if we can get detailed and accurate machine specs from you guys (and girls).

Crash, Freeze, Hang and similar issues
Please use this thread to report any stability issues you've experienced. In addition to the machine specs (see below) it would help if you could give some some additional information (e.g. running DX11 version, stability only bad after playing for X minutes, etc).

Machine Specs
Please use DxDiag to collect information about your machine. If you're not already familiar with it, DxDiag is a tool provided by Microsoft that collects information about your machine (CPU, GPU, memory, etc) and allows you to save it as a single text file.

You can run DxDiag as follows :
  • Press Windows Key + R
  • type dxdiag
  • when the tool is up & running, click Save All Information
  • save the file somewhere where you can find it (e.g. your Desktop)

The information in dxdiag.txt is quite long (many pages) so it's not always convenient to copy & paste it in a forum post. You can use of the available free text sharing sites to make the specs available to us, e.g.

{ODKAZ SMAZÁN}
{ODKAZ SMAZÁN}

If you want to post your specs directly onto the forums, can you please copy & paste the first 80 lines or so from it (up to and include Device ID).

Many thanks & keep building!

Vassilis

I am just a mom trying to help my son. He is so excited about this game, but it keeps crashing and restarting the computer every 5 to 15 minutes. Here is the computer information you asked for. http://pasted.co/dcc23c53
Thank you.
Worlds just hangs in the background. I was able to play Worlds on my laptop when I first got it, but on my main desktop comuter it doesn't work. At first it would completely shut off my system for some reason. Then I had problems with another game, and the solution to that was to delete Nvidia GeForce Experience from my computer. The other game now works, and instead of shutting off my computer, Worlds now just hangs in the background, unable to be displayed in windowed or fullscreen.

Im noticing that when I run around in world, if I go too fast the terrain doesn't load quick enough and the game crashes. This happens more when Im on a horse or other animal. The game exits right out to the desk top. Don't know if this is a computer thing or a game problem.
Same thing happens to me too.
when ever i try to start the game its says perpering to start then crashes what can i do i really want to play the game
Sadly I still get the crashes. Can only play for 10minutes at a time. Hope this gets fixed soon. Won't be playing until it does as it's unplayable.

Hope this helps
If you sit in a car and want to get a horse with an apple and you press "E" the game crashes and you have to restart the computer.
Hi, I have just purchased this game for my son, as our first Steam game, and it is experiencing the same problems as others from what I can tell. I have disabled all background service, checked the Visual C++ install, directX and set Steam to run as administrator. I have also disabled UAC and performed various reboots and retests. I've also disabled windows defender, so nothing should be causing any issues.

I have included the dxdiag text file up to the end of the sound capture device below. If any more is required, then please let me know. My Son first played this game at the National Videogame Arcade in Nottingham over the summer holiday and fell in love with it. He has worked hard to deserve the game as a reward, so is most upset that it wont run, and he can't play it. Please help. Thanks. Robin.

Hi Robin,

I'm afraid your laptop's graphics card (Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family) is below the minimum spec for LEGO Worlds and will not be able to run the game.
My game works, but after playing about 10 minutes the game closes! what is the problem? here are my system specs:

I also jsut bought the game last night and it will play for a few minutes and then gets stuck and I have to restart the computer. I'm not a tech savvy person and just want to be able to click and play so I'm thinking I may need to request a refund???

Specs:
http://justpaste.it/nkdb

I posted about this in the "post update 2 issues here" thread as well but seeing as how this is the bug area I might as well say my crashing experiances.

1) (Happened before the most recent smaller update so it might be fixed) I was on a brown horse and tried to give an eagle a fish to add to my collection and the game crashed/froze.

2) I was playing for about 30 min. to an hour (guessing) and all of a sudden the ground stopped loading and the map stopped updating. I was swimming to an island and when I reached it I just fell through the half rendered ground. When I fell through I was stuck falling under the ground forever. I decided I might be able to get out if I use the skydiving button...but that didn't help. Instead it spawned me in a black part of the map (A part unexplored) and I just fell through the water without swimming. Every once in a while I could make it back to explored land and walk around for a very short time but I could still fall through the explored area if I went too far. Also trying to summon vehicles and pets didn't work. They didn't turn red when I clicked them like they normally do. They just didn't spawn in. After a while of admittidly trying to break the game more I decided to try to go to the title/menu screen. When I said "Yes" to Would you like to save and quit", the game froze/crashed.

Both of these crashes I had to restart my computer to close the program.

Here are my specs:

An edit: Just tried to play again and was spawned into the no ground part of the world. I think my save is broken. I'll try to start a new world
