IS this like Lego Creator (1998) on the pc?

I remember playing a game like this on the computer when I was like 10 or so that was a sandbox like this (not with the same graphics obviously) and I had a blast with it. I've waited years for a game that would serve as a modern enhancement of it. Could this be it? Have my years of waiting finally paid off?

It does have elements of that in it. However at present the brick set only contains around 93 bricks. But you can still build creatively with those bricks plus the models you find while playing the game.
