Figuring out Galactic Coordinates.
I'm curious, since we've been trying to share these here and there, how many of you get similar results from those people mention.

Let's say for instance, the coordinates of my second world:
1139-7224-5672.

For me, this is a decently land-filled world, albeit not without some islands off to the edges. Mostly just a flat forested region with some mushroom biomes not too far away and a small tinge of badlands along the initial land's edges.

However, I've also seen it appear to be a slightly narrower strip of land with some magma off to its edge and a somewhat lengthy swath of water cutting through it.

Anyway, maybe we could exchange coordinates here and test out the results of how similar they are to what the originator had generate for them?

When I tried that coordinate set I got something that sounds like your second description.

My 6th world coordinates are 1524-7847-8964. It has a large, high-peaked cosmic biome in the center with water on two opposite sides and rather flat grassy/sparse tree land to the other two sides (small bit of badlands hanging on one edge).

Just gave it a check on my side, and I mainly got a swampy center with some farmlands gradually shifting into some mountains.

That looks nothing like my version. I wonder if the build of the world is the same but the starting point differs, since these are just snapshots of the starting area.

Exciting news! I couldn't get around to that the other day, but I did today, and check this out!

I'm not sure if it's exactly what you had, but it seems to resemble what you described. Tall peak, water on both sides, some flat forest lands to the north/south. Haven't found some badlands yet, but I also just stumbled into this.

It turns out that going...Eastward, following the sunrise, and what I assume is northward, then veering a little to the west following the sunset led me to around here. It took a few minutes (probably less than half an hour) to find, but it seems like you may have been right.

That is correct. As also mentioned, adding spaces and hyphens also makes a difference.

1111-1111-1111 is an entirely different world to 1111 - 1111 - 1111 and 111111111111.

Thanks for clarifying Chris!

Also, I double checked my route just now. At least in this instance, the starting point was almost due south* of yours and roughly a ten minute flight there.

*More specifically, just slightly southwest of the starting point. So my route was going slightly northeast in finding it.

Cool. I'm glad we were able to clear that up, and I especially appreciate the developer confirmation. Now we know if we find a particularly interesting map, we can share the GC so everyone can enjoy it!

Yep! Oh, and as a fun aside, I decided to give it a go: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=456567178

There's a difference between:
1139-7224-5672
1139 - 7224 - 5672

I think the game displays it always after you enter it as 1139 - 7224 - 5672 but it will still have the data of 1139-7224-5672.

edit* I see that the dev now commented about that as well. That might could also do with a sticky.

I have checked out the ingame guide about different coordinates and finally found a biome im going to hugely work on laying bricks.

Skyrim (no #'s or spaces, just Skyrim) check it out.... i have a HUGE land mass...lots of flat land, but it also contains most of the different area's...its pretty cool.
