Custom Character

I keep trying to customize a personal female character but it keeps defaulting to a male voice. Weird to spend a few minutes crafting my character only to yelp masculine grunts when I jump and punch.

No, there's definitely a female one. I started as the female "Explorer" and two Male Explorers. I chose female (being one) and it's all good, until I try to customize...

Oh ok. Only played as men so far and didn't see a voice option, so just assumed. Not sure, then. Sorry.

The only way to avoid this is playing as a full skin. I have "Girl" and "Cavewoman" and Scientist (female) and a couple others, all with female voices... as long as I don't customize anything.

I am playing with the full skins - they still sound like guys.

It is possibly because i didn't start with them and changed them in the game.

Change means customized, then yes. That's when it glitches out on us.
My Explorer girl (Paleontologist or something)... Tried to give her a different hairdo. Instant dude voice.
Hope this gets patched.

This bugs me as well.
I'd like to see voices for custom figs to be either linked to the choice of head or selectable from their own menu.

How do you even find new clothes, though? I've been running around walking into everything that blinks, saying hi to the new people I find, and opening every chest I can find, but I don't seem to have picked up any new clothing yet.

you gotta go into the minifigure menu and buy the figure that has the cloths you want, then you can just select the pieces you want to wear.

You find them by interacting with 'people' in the world. Most are just randomly wandering around. But I did find Skeletons, Vampires and Werewolves in a sort of "Halloween" area.
