But what made minecraft so successful is that you pay $26.95 as a ONE TIME PURCHASE!!!!!
My biggest fear is down the road they will try and milk it with 100$ worth of DLC the very reason why other attempts at online lego world has failed
wooden building blocks have been around allot longer than that, lego is not original, besides this game is a copy and paste minecraft concept
hehehehe its not a clone, for starters, Lego was created before minecraft (well before) and lego created a lego designer before minecraft. minecraft was more of a offshoot from lego because of the build anything, but with lego u have more detail and possibilities, minecraft is just a game inspired by LEGO because of the fact u can build any thing, this is just a step further with lego to produce something that people wanted for a long time.
It's really not. The similarities are that it's open world, procedurally-generated and you can build stuff, but they are very different.
Minecraft has an inventory, a hotbar and a crafting system. This game does not.
This game has vehicles, the ability to build pre-fabricated "sets" and interact with them, minecraft does not.
Minecraft uses pretty much cubes of the same size for everything; this game uses lego bricks which allow for a lot more varied building.
Minecraft has a programming/logic system in its building; this game does not.
It's all just recycled/changed/combined stuff that nature produced.
OFCOURSE IT IS BLOCKS -.-
its great game. buy it orleave it.
It actually can be, since the video game Minecraft came out before the video game LEGO Worlds. Sure, building with blocks was done by LEGO in the physical realm before Minecraft existed so Minecraft may have been inspired. But when was the last time a creeper exploded in your AFOL playroom?
I hope it isn't a clone, though.
