Custom characters always have man voice?
Am I missing something? I really would like my character to be a female and so far am loving the customization options I've found so far, but my custom character always has the grunting male voice. If I switch to the cave woman or the paleontologist they have female voices, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get my custom girl to not sound like Hulk Hogan. Any ideas?

Other than this one issue I am enjoying the game immensely and cannot wait for the modding community to get established. I can see so much potential here.

Thanks! Also thanks for the super fast response. :)

It was pointed in another topic. In fact, the minifigures take the voice you start the world with, even when you change it (cause it's the same "character"). Try leaving the world, choosing a female character and jump right in. Hopefully the character customization in game will have a voice option.

@CuberToy Unfortunately when I start a new world even with a female character selected I spawn with the 'Custom A' character selected with the voice and full costume of the male explorer. Thanks for the suggestion though. I'm sure they'll tend to the bug soon. For now I am going to try reinstalling and see if that helps.

This, unfortunately, never appears to have been fixed for anyone else having this issue like myself.

I think it MIGHT have to do with what gender the custom character is BEFORE you start customizing, cause Customs C and D are female, and thus they have female grunts.

I'm playing this for the first time in 2020 and I'm here to tell y'all it has nothin' to do with starting gender. Tested that theory. Apparently, the bug simply never got fixed, because NONE of the customizable characters have female voices. Shame too, as I'm playing it with daughters. They were totally stoked upon discovering the ability to create their own characters...with only male voices...
Fwiw, this is our first Lego game.
