Calling all past LEGO Universe players.

Has anyone here played/heard of LEGO Universe?

If you've never heard of it, I don't blame you. It has a short lifespan of October 2010-January 2012.
(With and Alpha and Beta before it)

I took place in the Beta until the final game came to a close, with my username being "SouperBrick".

I loved the game because it had a lot of depth in it's customization, creative gear and factions, awesome social features, and incredibly structured combat and exploration.

If you know exactly what I'm talking about, lift your voice and reply to this thread!

It was basically an MMO, it could have gone so far and they were off to a really good start imo

I still remember when LU was announced, way back when. It seemed a lot closer to a multiplayer version of this game, super light hearted and everything. Even though I loved LU, I still wish they hadn't tried to make it so dark and edgy.

I read they spend a fortune on trying to get ♥♥♥♥ / penis / knob detection working and failed.

LEGO lost 50 milions of dollars in that game due they were noobz in mmorpg industry and beside not having clear what they wanted from the game (this is why it has tons of different things from races to build and fights and loot and platforms, although these things we loved all together) and they wanted to use it for sponsorize their products more than for ppl fun, also they did wrong with F2P, since there were only 38k subbers, not enough for make money, they passed to F2P model and attracted over 2 milions of ppl but most of them did not convert into subscriptions, mostly because they were kids and u know who pay are mom and dad, for a complete examine check:

It is a very useful article and show where LEGO did wrong.

Darn i would play LU even offline if possible, my favoured theme was the pirate one, yo! Arrrrrrh!

LU was in my opinion the greatest game ever made, with modability and multiplayer this game could become the next great thing.
