you can only place them. Just drag them into the world when you see them in the pull up menu

who knows maybe in the future they will add some more interation... but I always think.. animation is always hard stuff! unless they are working with motion scan technology! (which I don't think so because these are doll figures... but again.. I don't know, maybe there could be a mix between program assisted or body/motion scan to help animate the characters in certain cases as required) one thing I know, the animation in this game is nice and smooth like watching a CGI movie to me! (and then, of course, there's the big boss called A.I./Artificial Intellligence for the characters that needs to be hand coded and A.I requires a LOT of coding, and since the game supports not only one protagonist, but many!!! - I don't see NPC interactions coming... to be honest)

ähm, i dont speak about the animations. i was wondering, if you cans et them friendly. and i know a bit of coding, and a game is always work :D

We've got a long term plan regarding the improvements of AI Behaviours. At the moment, they are all 'friendly' until you hit some of them, or if you're a horse and see a skeleton. Skeletons are kind of mean.

what an honor, developer!

do you might consider adding this thing later? it would be so awesome to create a fort and "play" a medival assault on it. i mean, lego is there to let youre dreams come true in a really special way, and this would be one of mine!

Imagine a big castle where you place the friendly npc`s and on the outside you set the roaming army and a waypoint for them (to "capture" it!)

Awesome. In my opinion. although the game is awesome already :)

I will ask John and Toby what these plans are longer term. We hopefully will share them soon enough, but I want to make sure I understand what their intentions are.

Will point this thread out to them though!

Thank you very much!

For the record, certain Characters already have set behaviours and will act on those behaviours whether they are naturally spawned or dragged into the world by the player.
For example:
Put the Outlaw (Male) near the Cowboy or Cowgirl (including your own avatar as one or the other), and they will likely have a showdown if they get close enough to each other. You can't force the behaviour, but you can improve the likelihood by placing them near one another.
