How many gold bricks are there?

I spent 60 hours in this game and so far I found 196 gold bricks. I do heard somewhere that 230 gold bricks is maximum.

I haven't played the DLCs either. I assume that there are 10 gold brick quests in Classic Space and 5 gold brick quests in Monster Pack. So the base game has 215 gold brick quests in total with the extra 15 gold bricks from DLCs.

But really, how many gold bricks are there in this game?

I don't know how the Lego World wiki said that the limit of gold bricks is 65000. But when someone uses cheat engine, the highest gold bricks you can get is 999. lol

ok, update. The maximum gold bricks you can have is 65535. I don't know how many gold bricks you can get through quests tho

A saved game remembers the status of 236 gold bricks. I managed to collect 235. I’m not sure the 236th can be grabbed as the quest to get it seems incomplete and never triggers.
