This update is in Beta for a reason. The team wanted us to have an update before they took their Christmas break, but because they didn't do extensive testing and they won't have a quick fix, they decided to put it into Beta.
Your also forgetting all the bricks they added, and with the complexity of the engine required to handle the bricks, that's no small task. Plus the update fixed several other bugs that were causing crashes and performance problems.
The split-screen co-op is a totally different thing; as the world has to understand how to generate for both of the players. There are so many changes to the engine as a whole, I can't imagine that it would be smooth to add, even though all their other LEGO games have it.
General, if I believed that you were an adult, I would not even bother to reply to your post as it has the maturity of a 6 year old, but I am prepared to help you by giving you the benefit of the doubt: these forums are intended to assist gamers in forming their own opinion. My post was related to my opinion which could assist others who may be wondering whether they should wait for the alpha auto release or risk the beta release (by the very nature of beta, it will be buggy) so there is no reason to play the person rather than the ball. There is no place for such tactics in these forums. PS I hope you find your fisherman beard, or maybe ask your dad to help
Im still encountering some glitches that needs some fixing, a little heads up for the next update for 2016.
One thing I've noticed was if I jump using a girl character, it would dub as a boy, but if I jump twice, the character's voice would then dub as a girl finally.
Second, every 30sec-1 minute after a smooth gameplay, I experience a spike lag for a second. I dont know why it happens, my desktop is compatible with the current graphics settings. I dont know if I should decrease my settings if it needs to be that way so anyone inform me if ever. Pls take note of this :(
Third, well not really a major concern, when I ascend or descend a plane for 2-4 seconds, the vehicle sounds start to stop and return again if you fly forward.
its my second day playing Lego Worlds and Im very happy this game ever existed. Im looking forward to future updates and some added stuff for this game. (Maybe add a suggestion box in the forums so that devs would have an idea on what to put next with some opinion of players) AND, hopefully this game adds more male hair types for character creation, like the master builder's generic hair from The Lego Movie. That's all, thankyou Lego Worlds creators 👍🏼👍🏼 9/10 for me
So I figured out the lag spike stuff awhile ago, I didnt change my graphics setting but selected a new world and now i dont encounter lag spikes anymore. Pls fix this problem, team :(
and the other one i forgot to mention, sometimes when you dont move, your character just freezes and for it to be fixed, you either press the esc button and go back to the game again, or yung re-run the game again. More things need to be fixed for an awesome game. (This game already is tho)
This freezing relates to a message that is glitched in update 3. If you press E (or its controller counterpart) when your character freezes, it should fix the problem.
Both the lag spikes, and the freezing have been fixed in update 4 beta. To update folow the instructions at the top of this discussion
Warning: If you change to update 4, you will lose your current discoveries (worlds and builds will not be harmed) and you must use the 'clear all discoveries' feature in the options menu for the game to continue working properly. This update also comes with a host of new bugs.
