Can LEGO Worlds be played offline?
I noticed it says in the requirements it requires a broadband internet connection, is that just to activate the game or is it connected to a server?

Just to activate the game. You don't need internet, do not worry. It's also reffering to Online Multiplayer which is coming soon!

Thank you!, it would be disappointing if it was online only.

Hi, just to follow up, we say that it needs a broadband connection because we want people to be aware of the updates that come through too.

The game itself will ALWAYS have an offline function for those that want to play solo. We're looking into adding split-screen so you can also play with a friend at home too. Not enough split-screen in games these days!

That's a cool idea. Do you actually roughly know when the splitscreen will be available? Since I most likely play the Lego Games splitscreen with controllers, I would consider purchasing it in a while.

I have to admit, its awesome to hear that from a game developer. I also feel there's just not enough splitscreen games anymore.

I'm a big fan of multiplayer,Will there be a possible future,if not already, mode to share the same screen since my family likes to use the same screen if its possible so there's no split screen since it's very confusing.
There's going to be two-player co-op in the next update. I'm pretty sure it's going to be split screen, though. Which is fine with me.

If you're doing split screen on PC, you should also implement the ability to use 2 screens locally. That's the glory of PC who can have multiple screen displaying at once. ;)

You can do this already if you have a system like and eyefinity that let's you stitch multiple screens together into one. I do it all the time for split screen games. As long as the split is nice and even it works well.
