Moving objects, insite and ideas.
To build off of what has already been said, if you have a boat, blimp or a space ship made out of the bricks available in the game. You would then be able to export as a model in any large area, you will then be able to asign movement options. Float, hover or fly. Obviously a space ship would fly, a blimp would hover and a ship would float. You would then get two special bricks, one brick defines the center of the ship(For boats it also defines where the water level is.). And the other give control of the object, press Q or E and you have control.

When you make the object, you have to export it as a model then convert it as a ship after you place those two bricks in the editor. Then you will be able to place it as a ship in the game, you will always have the original unmodified in case you need to make changes and export it again.

Once you place the finished model you can use it as a vehicle of your choice, when converting it you will choose what type you want. Once all is done and you have placed your finished ship you will be able to take it around the world, exploring with a mobile platoform. You will not be able to modify it, because have a separate building axis would be too hard to code. It will be a basic model, where it has no brick information but only have the shape the bricks left. You will be able to walk around inside you ship if you have made an interior. Also studs may be a bit too much for the object to be exported as a model, so stud will be either disabled or exported differently. They will be exproted in a way where it saves the studs position and then loads them as the player moves around inside or outside the ship, each meterial will have it's own file for the studs. Also only visible studs will be loaded, as in not the ones that are being used to connect the bricks.

I think this will be a great idea to go along with a vehicle creator, because it will allow you to make really large moving crafts. Also it is not limited too boats, blimps and space ships. You would be able to make your house fly, make your bob statue fly. Make anything you can imagine float , fly or hover.

Also hovering craft will be able to travel underwater, you can have an option where it enable or disables air and/or under water travel. Space ships would be able to do both regardless.

Sorry for any errors and such, have a nice day!

Seems complex. Give us the ability to take current vehicles/animals and add bricks then we can create anything powered by the broom engine, or submarine, or even an ostrich etc..

Some of these ideas are quite good ones. I definitely like the idea of using special bricks for the cockpit of the vehicle and for the waterline of a boat. However, I don't know how it would work out with a wheeled vehicle (i.e a car). In order to do something like that, the devs would have to give us some kind of special vehicle editor. If you just slapped wheels on something you build in-game, the game wouldn't know where the vehicle ended and terrain began. Also, if there was a special vehicle editor, you could have access to more bricks such as propellers and the like.

So, basically, I think an entirely separate editor for vehicles would be best, unless the devs can somehow code it so that you can build vehicles in-game (starting by placing a cockpit or something).
