Mermaids in Games

Hi everybody!

Currently, I am researching mermaids in games, but it is hard to get a good overview of what is out there. ;-) So, I was wondering which games featuring mermaids Steam-players know and whether the mermaids in them are playable characters or not.

I already wrote two articles about the Disney mermaid (in '90 games for SEGA and Gameboy/NES) and would like to see how the mermaid has "evolved" in the 21st century. So Steam seems like the place to be! ;-)

Of course, I started out here by just typing in "mermaid" in the search box, buying al the games and playing them. But there must be so many more mermaids! All the help would be very helpful.

We don't have any Mermaids in LEGO Worlds, however, we did have them in LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean:

Will there ever be mermaids in LEGO Worlds? A good friend of mine and I have bought the game in hopes we will eventually play as mermaids, and there are quite a few threads requesting to add them to the game.

Gosh. I am hoping for Mermaids in videogames since a long time now. I play or test every games with mermaid playable race. I am definetly supporting the the goal to add Mermaids to Lego worlds. There are so many characters and creatures. There's no point not including Mermaids. It would give life to underwater places.
Lots of people want them, just check how many threads are speaking about it.
Devs, Time has come for Mermaids, please!
