i think out of your list the 710 is most powerful, but this game tends to have a lot going on, especially when you start building. so i think any of those might struggle. also depends on CPU and RAM...

what would you recomend from walmart.com below 70$?

A vacuum cleaner

Lwds is a gpu hungry game! I'd get a Gtx1080 and an i7 cpu :D (those are well over a thousand combined)

Don't buy PC parts from Walmart, I'd highly recommend using Newegg.

my pc will only support a 2 core cpu

I run this game reasonably well on an old Intel Duo Core running Windows XP SP 3 with 4 Gigs Ram and a GeForce GT740 Superclocked GPU with 2GB of onboard RAM, but I do have to turn down the performance settings within the game, and I can get around 30 - 40 FPS

I run it 60fps maxed out on my GTX 760, a 1080 would be overdoing it...

I'd say run with the 760, or maybe a GTX 960 if you are worried.
Hell, that might be overdoing it.
Remember, games with procedural generation tend to take up a lot of RAM, so don't completely rely on your card to do the job!

Thanks Moksi.

Paul, I mean that it is pretty much impossible to get any decent GPU for under $250.

i used to have an 760 with 2gb on board, the game runs fine on that card.

i always turn off the settings as in bloom and blur...things like that, shadows turned down lower and such. (like to medium or so).

but now i have a Gtx 970 with 4gb on board and i kept all the settings the same, only the draw distance on max.

Thing is the game actually asks more from my cpu than my gpu, (turn on the profiler and see the stats).

but it's not only about the gpu, your cpu is important if not most imporant to games these days than a gpu.

oh and yes i tested this both on a i7 4770k, and well apart from the draw distance that ive set to max, i don't notice that much of a difference.
So i think and what i see from the profiler when i run it, it's more cpu heave than gpu heavy.

Uhm no dude, it barely uses my gpu, it's more cpu heavy.
Like every game these days are more cpu heavy than gpu heavy.

but the MS margin is quite little, my cpu is always above my gpu MS, as in by 5ms or so.
IF it was gpu heavy the gpu MS would be higher.

But then again it depends on your cpu aswell, your results will be different than mine anyway since we don't have the same hardware, so if you have a cpu which is less powerful but a great gpu, ofc you will say it's gpu heavy because your cpu can't handle it, so your gpu takes it over.

Average is my gpu on 10ish ms, and cpu always topping it with +3 to 5 on top what my gpu results are.
but mostly it's very close... (think about 10ish ms).

So how can this be a gpu heavy game?, i think it's the other way around but then nearly every game these days are more cpu heavy than gpu.

I have a (maybe dumb) question about CPU....
in the desire to make LEGO Worlds run smoother on my PC...
So I have a 6 core amd fx6300...
Maybe lego worlds uses only one core?
can it use more?
is this even possible or it makes no difference...
If I were to use my intuition, I'd say that: I can't use more than one core for LWds or any other game IF it was not designed to run on more than one core.. am I right? someone please explain ;)

on the other note, the game is still in EA so not every performance patch is released yet if you think about it.
the devs still fine tune this all the time, but they have priorities in what they work on.
Think about it though, it's playable atleast but don't expect it to run that smooth still because you will be fooling yourself with that.

But having some good hardware it's playable to say the least.

And Aloan, even dumb questions are questions m8, those still need answers aswell so don't worry about it.

Also think about it if one or more of your cores are parked by your cpu, there's a program to unpark them aswell.

http://coderbag.com/Programming-C/Disable-CPU-Core-Parking-Utility
(explaination of what cpu core parking is)

http://coderbag.com/Programming-C/CPU-core-parking-manager
(download link for this program)

i,m in search of another program to unpark my cores but i didn't found it yet.
