Unicorn quest

I am so confused. I think that i find the unicorn stables and give the guy with the horn next to it a ball/water pistol and the unicorn would spawn but when i walk away, the guy has his horn again, why/how do i find the unicorn?

I've had the same issue on PS4 and still not had the Unicorn Spawn. Having sold (and re-sold) trumpets bagpipes etc that i have then found in chests on other worlds i dont get the Woodsman quest again other than that one initial quest that goes on and on....

I'm having the same problem (Xbox One), I given the guy about 6 Soccer Balls and still no Unicorns anywhere in several worlds over several days. Did either of you ever find the Unicorn? I'm wondering if they added a new condition since the updates now that he's not a wandering quest anymore.

The unicorn is a super rare spawn. After you do the quest, the unicorn has a chance of randomly spawning in Famtasy Forest.

I created some custom Fantasy Forest worlds and finally got it in a Large one. I was starting think after several days of looking that I'd never find one.

Yes, right - it is MORE seldom than the T-Rex. It had made the "quest" with the "huntsman" and this trumpet/football several time - and NONE unicorn appered. Finally It appered (in the evening) on an other "world" in the fantasy Forest - I had stopped searching already... So don't hasitate - .. :) let it not feel your anger...
