Do Quests Stop Spawning?

Hey, so I'm trying to regain my Battle Sword after giving it to the King. I read that the sword originally comes from a Knight's quest near a Minotaur pit in the Curious canyon biome (which I then remembered doing), so I made a custom Huge Curious Canyon world. However I've been searching it for hours now and haven't found a Minotaur pit. This presents a few possibilities: 1) I just got unlucky and need to search another world 2) That quest doesn't spawn in custom worlds (like how characters in brick builds don't, which is a glitch) 3) Quest areas don't spawn in new worlds after you've completed them.

Anyone know which, if any, of these are correct? Or, is there another way to regain the Battle Sword without finding the quest again?

I think you need to just keep looking. There's also a small chance of getting one from a chest or the night trader.

you can find the quest again for the battle sword, i just tried it out.
what you can do is make a custom (large) world with whispering woodland and curious canyon, not sure if it matters that whispering woodland is added but thats what i did.
when creating the world i edited the curious canyon biome to have all characters.
and found a Minotour pit with the quest at the first world i created.
and don't forget he needs a clear jewel if you don't already have that.

So I followed your advice and found a Minotaur Pit. Only problem is, the knight said something along the lines of, "I can give you my Battle Sword to defeat the Minotaur with, but you must bring me a gem first to sharpen it on." Did that, and he gave me a gold brick instead... X(

EDIT: Never mind, apparently he did give me a Battle Sword, it just didn't show it for some reason. Just checked my inventory and there it was. Thanks for the help!

at some day, i got a map after completing this certain quest once, with three of them with the same chain. So the quest order will sometimes change, but there is an infinite amount of spawning

Also, if anyone's running into the same problem as I was, there's a second way to get the Battle Sword. In Whispering Woodlands Towns, there will occasionally be a Viking Woman at a blacksmith station, who will ask for a Sword (easily farmable from Weapon Rack models), an Egyptian Sword (from Dusty Desert, I had 3 of them on me when I found this quest), and an Orange Crystal (easily farmable from various crystal models/ buyable from Night Trader) in exchange for a Battle Sword. This way may be easier to find, since all you have to do is see if there's the purple Town marker on the minimap, then search it for the Viking Woman, instead of scouring the whole world.
