You can also try to reinstall the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages. It can be found in the LEGO Worlds Installation directory by default it's located here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\LEGO Worlds\_CommonRedist\vcredist
Install both 2010 and 2012 vcredist_x64.exe
If none of that helped it may be related to your video card and or driver.
It Says My PC Needs DirectX 11 To Run The Game, But My PC Says That I Have DirectX 12. I'm Confused??
open game now you can play. if you want put LEGO_Worlds_DX11 back open options and change dx11 to dx9.now put LEGO_Worlds_DX11 back. [NICE]
So, I Did That. And It Keeps Getting Further And Further Into The Start Loading Screen a Tiny Bit Each Time I Open Up The Game. So Do I Keep Trying To Open It, And See If It Gets Me Past There, To The Actual Game, Or What??
No
GPU: Intel(R) Q45/Q43 Express Chipset.
CPU: Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz 2.99GHz.
Installed Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB.
System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor.
And The Exact Same Thing. It Starts, Then Stops.
I'm not surprised it won't launch, in theory it should still be able to get to the title screen in DX9 mode but in-game performance would unlikely be worth the trouble.
The cheapest modern discrete GPU (like $40) will already be a big upgrade for you.
Alright. That Sucks But At This Point It's Whatever. Thank You Both For The Help.
I purchased Lego Worlds something like three weeks ago and I got the same problem. After a few hours spent searching how to get it fixed, I still have no solution. Do you think it might be my CPU or GPU that is too weak too ? I've got :
Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2520M @ 2.50GHz 2.50GHz
Hoping a quick answer so I can finally begin to play.
I suspect your memory doesn't meet minimum requirements, LEGO Worlds requires 4 GB RAM and 512MB for graphics, your integrated graphics shares memory.
But first thing you can try is installing the latest graphics drivers, LEGO games do run on newer mobile integrated graphics solutions but your processor is from 7 years ago.
