You would think this is a bug but the absence of yellow hips and legs at least might be intentional, LEGO could conclude that makes a naked minifigure... they are sorta sensitive on the subject.
Yeh eventually I got it. I figured it had to be in the Effects Settings so when I didn't find it there I went looking for it in the PCCONFIG.TXT without success. I hastily concluded that they might have forgotten it ;)
After a bit I spotted it when I went in the settings to turn off Tool Camera Collision.
Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure if my game was bugged or if there was a legit reason. At least I know it wasn't just me now!
You may be right, but that's mad. Action Man (GI Joe) was never so sensitive and every doll my sister ever owned was stripped and changed regularly. Unless Lego are planning to make anatomically correct figures (ugg...) this type of thinking is just craziness. They seem to be the only toy manufacturer concerned about this 'issue' and they certainly weren't when they produced the yellow space man originally. Naked Lego... well I suppose a lunatic concept like that fits the lunar theme.
Whether it's bug or is at some level intentional is all 100% speculation until we learn more.
The nudity hypothesis fails to explain why the torso isn't there, and imo doesn't really make sense for the legs either. We will get an answer soon enough.

Good grief, what a horrible picture!
