Another game ruined by corporate greed
How do you let so much potential go to waste? Just let some guys in suits run the show.
Can't have people stop buying our plastic toys now, can we?

I was wondering if the messed up the game on purpose because they think it will shadow the physical Lego game. It's kinda dumb, but they had gold bar in the game, now it's an early access game where devs were active and nice, now nobody talks, and when they comunicating it's for DLC. I dont blame the devs, but the guys who have the money. I am f*cking bitter with this game, i know it's stupid, but its true, it's the only game i feel robbed from buying it, and i really want them to rework it to make it a real game, not for dumb kids, just kids and people with normal capacities to understand a deep gameplay.

I don't blame the devs, they do what they are paid for. This is not Lego's internal studio or anything like that.

facts

Development got slower as the game made less and less money, now they're just leaving us on a cliffhanger of false hope

I would have got a refund for this but i got it in a bundle, the game is misrepresented on the store page. Brick rigs is what I expected this to be.

actually facts bro

When I got brick rigs I was so satisfied and it was exactly what I wanted and expected this game to be like (for the most part).

The best of the games; I spent months playing and building. Unforgivable that they have let it die, there is no more DLC, no more characters, no more updates. This year nothing was done about Halloween, I would not be surprised if they forget Christmas.

Survivor update, please see the light! (my prayer, lol)

At this point, lego perposfully shuts down their games if they get too good ratings.

Lego Worlds
Lego Minifigures Online
Lego Universe
Lego Chima Online
Lego Mars Mission (Conquest)

LEGO Worlds is NOT an MMORPG like the above mentioned games, its co-op multiplayer uses the friends system of each platform to establish peer-to-peer connections. There is no server to be "shutdown" in the traditional sense.

i think they ment stoped development in case of lego worlds and indirecly all the rest as well since cant develop what is shutdown but if im wrong on thier ment to say then yea you got big points stated hymn
and even still i would myself expect if lego worlds would be put to full stop the devs would at least put all this years and maybe a few extra in a new last free dlc showcase since some this years allows access to content in adventure mode otherwise locked out of but i will admit this year been somewhat dry in content overall if you dont count showcases ... so i think it fair some be concerned that it seems like the devs have stoped overall and since this is not an mmo, idk if or how, or what to expect a dev might say if at all if they felt like stopping development since the ga game is still playable and nothing is 100% lost of the game other then the showcase menu maybe...

in any true event i feel everyone just needs to calm down relax and if the game is stoped for development that on its own at least for pc marks a true point that mods may be able to take up and add things that never happen but even then it take time :?

and on the point of the game when it was still in EA, ill add i agree that it was fun and fully diffrent from it is now but i think some those things from then where changed with reason like the world sizes if to large it kinda makes it hard to find thigs and i feel the current overall world/island hunter works better with the seed gen to be able to share seeds and help others find some unlocks without treeking 500 trillion bricks in any given direction unkowing exactly if they may have missed something or not cuz i think back then the map was a lot less developed then it is now as well. but for things that were suddenly changed and added into 1.0 like the whole focuz of collecting the gold bricks ill say at first it anoyed me admittingly but at same tme it gave me more and more reason to keep playing and look over and around each hill for new missions to finish and get to the goal of having it all unlocked rather then wander endlessly without any given reason just to find something scan it and possibly never care for it again since it not like i needed it for anything els in the game to get another character or such.... or what im saying it gave more reason to hunt for everything in each biome before randomly going to the next cuz you never know what might be needed later on...
now admittingly after hearing of in the files what sounded like full new worlds that had diffrent themes but never happen and in its place we got showcase builds that gave some the stuff we might have expected to see in them.... it was kinda both good and bad in my eyes, 1 didnt have to worry of all to much extra money being spared if it was to be a ton unfinished then dlc world/biomes... 2 we got the connent still in some way or form .... but we also didnt get the conntent to have the chance to spawn natuarly in the worlds and realy hunt for them witch kinda bummed me out since there wasnt any hunt any more just build it and hope the game didnt glitch it up and do their task and scan and then ... nothing ....

but even still overall ill say even if i had distaste for the changes going into 1.0 i felt it was money still well spent and enjoyed only thing i could prob ask more for would be the devs have a secondary app here on steam kinda like how some devs might do to let players play say beta builds of updates without messing with files of the normal copies install so they can freely change what one they hit play on but in this case it be for the pre 1.0 builds of the game only :?
that way i could at least run around again and see what mayhem i could do then like making a car drive into water and suddenly go rocketing into the sky and above only to land who the hell knows where and may never find my way back XD(best bug ever that so should have had stayed in the game abit with a toggle for the fix lol it by far was best "feature" of the game then lol)

LEGO Dimensions being canceled right before the most important piece was released really hurts. At least it offers hours and hours of gameplay with a friend.

LEGO Worlds is still being developed, we're getting weekly updates, and there is a lot more planned in the pipeline.

Lol "Weekly Updates" ? Where ? Not trying to be smart, but there was no update since september. No more communication from devs who were close and active with their community.
My only hope and (i know it will never happened ) it's to open the game for modding, and let the incredebly big community do the work.
Snicker Nov 25, 2018 @ 9:11pm
Perhaps you have not been paying attention, but LEGO Worlds has received new content nearly every week this year. You may not consider it "an update" - but new content, to me, shows that they are still invested in this game.
VeryMelon Nov 26, 2018 @ 11:57am
Yeah, I don't consider it "an update", because it isn't one.
