Trouble with Crystal scimitar quest
So I just spent *hours* on the Dragon wizard quest, but now I may have to spend hours more. So once I had gotten the egg I went to the wicked wastelands and found the Dragon wizard. I fought him with Crystal bombs, since they were my only Crystal weapon. After dying a few times I beat him. But as he fell over I was able to discover him without the egg. Then I walked away and when I came back he let me give him the dragon egg. Now I've made a new wasteland world with only wizards and like 2 other creatures enabled, and I've spent awhile searching for the crystal throne or whatever for the crystal scimitar quest, I've also searched like 5 golden clouds for golden dragons in peaks. I'm not getting anything. I'm not sure if I'm just getting unlucky or the abnormal way I got the wizard is affecting it... But I would love some help and advice.

P.S. I'm actually playing on the switch version idk f that affects anything (I came to steam for this because communities are usually very helpful and responsive in it)

You wrote "a new wasteland world with ony wizards" - WRONG I think. You have to create in adventure mode a big "wasteland" worlds and let the system make the rest of it. You can not create a custom world. And it has to be a HUGE world. As I finished the quest, there was only ONCE this quest on this world, it is really seldom! Do not give up. try it again a wirtten. (You have already the other items? Red frogs and so one? )

So I can't find it in custom worlds? But people online say they have. Or do you mean I can't change the characters in it? Also yeah I am missing a few items for the quest but I'd still like to find the quest and Mark a waypoint

Yes, you can't change the characters - as the program decides, which quest a minifig will "carry". Custom: the program build a BIG world with your wish of "biome", but not a "blank" world where you fill in the parts
