Get past Winter Wonderland

I'm currently playing Adventure mode on PC. I finished the three introductory worlds. After that, the only free world is Winter Wonderland in my game.

It's a nice scene, but unfortunately, the only way to get golden bricks there is waiting for the bad guys to drop some (or in care cases at the merchants). But the number of quests there is a joke. I have managed to clone that world, only to see there are no new quests, and hardly any change to that world. With a LOT of patience I have managed to gather 25 bricks yesterday, which was the limit to unlock the next world.
Now today, I don't have a new world, the next one to unlock is 50 bricks. Tried make a new world, but I only have option of the Winter Wonderland. And it's still the same size. This is getting boring, and I won't just sit and wait till 25 bricks appear along the bad guys.

What am I doing wrong here? I don't have a manual, and this part is not self-explanatory.

PS one more question: on the map is lists "mission areas 0/8" (may be different, cause I'm using the German version, where it's "Missionsgebiete", but couldn't find anything about that too). What is that, and how to fulfil that?

enter your rocket. klick the rocket icon at the left buttom. than klick on the button "find a random world". and than make a double klick on that new world

Thanks, that's how I cloned the Winter Wonderland already. When I do that, I get a menu where I think I'm supposed to select different types. But the only one available to me is Winter Wonderland. It's nice for a start, but I want to explore more, and having only one choice is kind of a rip-off. How did everybody else get past that? Don't think people are just waiting round for the bad guys to arrive to collect 25+ bricks for something new...

It is random generated, just keep finding new random worlds.

i’m playing offline, using my phone to connect to steam’s forum... i have 10-12 winter wonderlands i’ve explored and nothing else after tutorial. I’ve collected 25 gold bricks from these and i guess i’ll work on 50. I was looking to see if i need an internet connection to find different types of worlds, or if they were only available through the qr codes etc.

Did you finished all tutorial worlds ?
The only thing that appears for you at "find random world " is winter wonderland?

If you're using the menu to make a custom world, you can only select biomes you've encountered. To encounter new biomes, you have to use the "find random world" option.

i never tried... surprise, to click it twice or more before settling on a world to visit... it always offered the winter wonderland first... or maybe the first time i clicked it multiple times, it was early game, and i got winter wonderland the second time and thought i’d be stuck with winter wonderlands awhile. xD

Yeah, had the same experience, that's why I posted that question in the first. Actually had to click FOUR times to get something other than Winter Wonderland. Strangely made and very confusing, especially when there's no manual.
