Crystal Scimitar quest not showing up on PS4
I've been to well over 30 huge worlds, 10 large worlds, 10 medium and 10 small worlds searching for a dragon wizard who gives the quest. I've found him on the throne In each world (sometimes as many as 5-6 times per world) times but he never offers the quest needed to unlock the dragons.

There are no words to describe how frustrating this has been. It was one of the main reasons my 6 year old wanted this game and no matter what I've tried the quest won't show up. It's also been a huge disappointment for him that he cannot get the Ninjago or Nexo knights characters due to having purchased the game in early January. There shouldn't be an official Lego video on YouTube highlighting these characters if they were only available for a short time. I asked my son if wanted to buy the new Ninjago game so he could play with them there and to my surprise he said no because it would probably not have the Ninjago people either lol. Which is good for me and my wallet, but bad for Lego and Tt. These shouldn't be hard fixes to implement.

Yea, they are looking to sort out availability of old showcase builds. Until then, search around here for 5 mins and you can download the old builds from Hymn.

The dragon quest is part of a large quest chain. Search out the details on here, you can't just skip to the dragon Wizard bit at the end.

Recovering previous showcase builds will only work for the Steam version, save data on consoles is encrypted and tied to user accounts, this concerns PS4 so my backup won't be of any use.

In December the showcase did cycle through all the 2017 builds with exclusive content (characters, vehicles, creatures, objects), I've heard no specifics but one could presume that eventually this will happen again for people who missed the first two times it was available, or perhaps another way to obtain that content.

The Nintendo Switch version already has a system in place to automatically grant Brick Builds that appeared prior to its release.

There are pre-requisites to getting him to offer the quest, jlftn. You MUST go through ALL of those pre-reqs in order, no skipping ahead ;) Check out the http://lego-worlds.wikia.com/wiki/Dragon_Wizard page on the wiki if you're stumped.

Thanks. I have completed all the pre-req's and once the Dragon wizard started spawning I beat him with my crystal bow and then traded him the egg he wanted and discovered him.

I also have multiple eggs of each type and get them regularly from wizards I kill, sometimes 2 or 3 eggs at a time.

Okay - so you've got him spawning and you've given him the egg? What platform are you playing on, and when did you complete this process? We're trying to identify if the quest is just completely broken at this point.

I'm playing on a PS4 we got for Christmas. We didn't get Lego worlds until around the 28th of December and while I don't know for sure I think we started the Dragon wizard quest chain around the 6th or so of January. It's hard to say on the last one though

Perfect, well, that is to say: that answers that. The quest must just be completely broken.

what happens if you throw the eggs in the lava?

I get baby dragons lol. I have all but three of them I think. The ones I have though are mostly from killing dragon wizards whose eggs fall into lava. I've only tossed one into the lava to get a baby dragon

Ah, I'm very much at sea with consoles, never having owned one. I thought since they have HDDs now... clearly I'm not on the right page.

No specifics. Just comment that they're looking to address the issue some time back but no mention since.

Based on the tweets I've read from the TT developers they are only looking forward and excited about their new projects. I've been reading up on trying to find some mention of Lego worlds from them and what I found only made me feel worse. And other than a few cash grab DLC's I kind of get the feeling that the game is as good as it's going to get. I really hope I'm wrong
