Kai's Sword, Cole's Hammer, etc.

Among the Ninjago weapons, Lloyed's sword, Nya's spear, and Jay's flail are all available unlocks (you can find them in chests). However, there were still a few weapons missing that couldn't be unlocked by any means. This has been confirmed a while ago by a number of other players.

So... I've unlocked Cole's Hammer, the Anacondrai Hammer, as well as Kai's sword, but I didn't do anything for it. I unlocked both hammers simply by not playing the game for about 6 months, and I unlocked Kai's sword for not playing about another 6 months. These items just appeared in my inventory as unlocked, so I guess I have them now?

Kai's sword doesn't have the proper model, it's just the basic katana with higher damage and fire effects. Cole's hammer has a weird bug where selecting it would trigger an intense period of lag followed by a hardcrash. Happened a few times when I kept trying it out.

Assuming these weapons aren't finished (because there's no real way to get them), why are they available by literally not playing the game? Or did I somehow unlock them without them appearing in my inventory until I rebooted the game?

I'm not sure. If anyone has similar experiences, please do share.

Hmm I guess you got them with adding the showcase pack one to your library. Because they are there includet

I was actually missing those three weapons, as they are not tied to any showcase.
I manually installed all previous ones, and had totally forgotten about actually pressing the 'download' button on the Steam store page for the Showcase Collection 1.

This is true. Every lego ninjago or just ninja related showcase item doesn't give you these weapons.
