Pink Mohawk for Western Town Quest

The barber in the Western Town wants me to wear a pink mohawk hairdo, but I don't know of any character that has one to unlock it. Where do I find this hair?

Pretty sure I got it from a treasure chest.

You probably have to exhaust the regular loottable of weapons and brick builds first.

Well, I have all brick builds and chests are just giving me laser pistols and carrot launchers now, so I guess it'll be any time now.

A month later: I've been scowering chests for quite some time, and I got the last brick element today, but still no hair pieces from chests. Are there any other hints that could be given with the current version of the game? There are very few items I have not collected, and I have a feeling many of the ones I don't already have are currently unavalible in adventure mode.

I have not been able to determine where this is located, but I will keep watching as I go through a new save slot and see if I get any of those items. I know I got the mohawk before title update 3, and I see they made a massive change to the chest drop table, but I don't really grok what it means.

Puhh.... I THINK, the hair came from a normal minifig, and not from a chest. I remember that a "City-person" with his hairs. Did you unlock every Fig in the city and in the scrapyard jungle?

Maybe in the future a new figure will come out and it will have the pink mohawk as one of its pieces?

Nope... I already had it.... before the last update. Only in the new update it was asked as a quest item. The same with the black cylinder-hat in the town

I think this is a plausible theory, the regular top hat used to be acquired from treasure chests as well but now you can get it from discovering the Carol Singer Man. And I think there is also one of the new dress-up quests in towns requiring a top hat. So maybe things changed to accommodate that.

Perhaps the Punk Rocker from Collectible Minifigures Series 4 is planned and will be the new method to get the Pink Mohawk.

As far as I know, individual minifigure parts on randomly generated characters like villagers and town's people can not be obtained by unlocking those characters. Always possible it changed but I think somebody would've noticed that by now.

I have opened tons of big chests and still have not gotten any hairstyles, hats and so on yet.

I have unlocked all the other stuff you can get from the chests now.
so thats not the problem.

please i want those hairstyles and hats.

what i mean is that have unlocked all the other stuff EXCEPT the hairstyles and hats.

i have opened tons of the big chests, which do not contain studs and this includes ALL big chests not only the ones from the dungeons.
All i got out of this chests so far are weapons; inventory objects like crystals, potions an so on; Brick Build Plans and Bricks for the build tool.
that was before i unlocked all the Brick Build Plans and the Bricks for the Build Tool.
i only get weapons and inventory objects out of the chests now but no hairstyles or hats.

sorry for my misleading sentences.

i think its the recent update i think because you can get multiple of one weapon now all the hairstyles and hats have become really rare

Welp... i'm done looking into this after digging for awhile, odd how there is no info at all about the extra headwear that can be unlocked that is not a part of an unlockable minifigure. Just to clarify the pink mohawk has been in the game since early access (thats when I unlocked it at least but no idea where or how)

I'm pretty sure that they would not have put a quest including this item then remove it from the loot table but oversights can happen.

Most likely as already stated a recent update has caused an issue with obtaining this piece of extra headwear (I say extra because it does not go with and is not included with any character discovery)

P.S. "It's not a bug it's a feature" I'm sure if enough of us put in a ticket about issues like this they may get resolved sooner then later I would hope, anyways I tried for ya :) GL and Happy adventuring
