Where are jewels dropped?

Aside from the balloon lady, where can I find jewels? I need a red one for the wizard, it's the one item I don't have for it

Also, you can go to the Crystal Crags biome and smash the glowing rocks and such there. That'll get you gems and crystals. For jewels, I'd advise going to the Junkyard Jungle, and looking for crates. They're titled 'jewel crates', and will get you jewels, if smashed.

I have smashed the crates many times after spawning them. They do not work if spawned. Do they work when occering naturally?

Perhaps you smashed the wrong thing? I got a ton of crystals and jewels from spawned crates. I think I "discovered" them in a camp that is downloadable from the preview in the main menu.

From my experience, any object that drops items will do so if spawned by a player.

The main source of Jewels of any colour (except Clear) used to be treasure chests, when you had obtained all weapons and Brick Builds the chests cashed out in either a ton of vegetables, sweets or jewels.

Now that the inventory can hold multiple weapons that source is either gone or the chances of getting it are very low.

The Jungle Camp Brick Build from the showcase comes with some objects that drop jewels but I'm not sure if it includes red ones.

I did that, as the previous commenter suggested. The jungle camp has several parts that drop valuables, and one of them is indeed the red jewel. Thanks so much!

The Jungle Temple Ruin has the red ones, I believe. Smash the idols.
