New Save
So, I plan on once more making a new save at the release of the Monster's DLC. Sounds pretty simple right? Issue is, I already have four saves started, and being the completionist I am, dont want to make this new save without the Nexo and Lego City items. Sure, I could file edit and all that, but my question is, to anyone who is able or willing to make a new save, do you start off with the Nexo and Lego City brick builds in your brick builds menu? While I would guess not, I ask this for the sake that in one of my saves, it automatically started with all nexo castle pieces already downloaded. While im not sure if that was just a weird and cool one time thing, I just feel as though I ask before the DLC comes out so I don't need to worry and think about it all. Thank you to anyone able to make a new save that is able to answer this.

You could back-up a save slot, it holds all your progress, worlds, and brick builds. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that when you want to recover it you need to put it back in the same slot number. Moving saves between slots involves changing file names and can cause a big mess if you do it wrong.

Anyway, as far as I've experienced on PC the game does not give any previous showcase Brick Builds when starting a new game, I can't explain how you got those NEXO pieces, might be a glitch. It does give Brick Builds on Nintendo Switch though so it might just be a feature that's not fully functional yet in the current PC version.

If you want to discover all minifigures, vehicles and props on a new save I think you will have to copy over the model files.

This will most likely be addressed because it's obviously not an option for console players.

EDIT: You do get the Agents content automatically.

Found an easy work around. Simply went and edited the dashboard names. Renamed DASHBOARD88 to DASHBOARD74, and vice versa, loaded up my game, and found all the nexo and city items, plus the giant shark for download again. Only problem with this is the fact they seemingly got rid of the DASHBOARD file containing the Evil Robots brick build, so I cant just rename a file to redownload that specific build. Can redownload the E3 logo though, so thats cool

You aren't redownloading anything, the dashboard XML only determines what is being shown in the Showcase and when you add a model the game copies the file from the assets directory to your save slot.

Evil Robot is in DASHBOARD79.XML but there was a typo in the file so it didn't show up in the showcase unless you fixed it.

Why not just copy the files? :P

I just find it easier to quickly rename the files that determine what shows up, as they all just pop up in recent documents, but I suppose that would probably be easier, too late now though xP. As for the Evil Robot being in 79, I see that now. My mistake? I didnt scroll down
