I assume you mean occlusion culling? the terrain system has always made use of it, it would be insane if it were to draw every cell given how data heavy chunks can be compared to the ones in Minecraft. One difference that may give you this impression is that LEGO Worlds fills areas with 1x1 plates when the camera clips through terrain to prevent you from seeing an emptry void below the surface which would break the illusion of a world made out of solid bricks, but those are obviously not rendered when the camera is unobstructed and they cant be a significant burden on performance because only one layer is rendered.
To be honest, I didn't really know what's called. Thanks for letting me know tho.
Also they need to make all the colors unlocked. for some reason many of the colors on the pre made set are not possible to use by any other means then by placing the set down.
Also the road bricks need to fixed its such a pain to place road without it ruining the already existing road or it going one 1/3 brick level down even tought the ground is all flat or it glitching all the cars in the town and making them crash into each other and flying around when you make the road longer.
They need to Add a auto road placer because of all of this, that connects with the already existing road.
Also they need to make it so npc don't repeat the quests we have already don for them and i mean the same npc over and over again.
