200 gold bricks, what do we know so far, what are you doing?

I recently heard on here that a Chris Rose (associate producer TT?) said that there are only 200 gold bricks and all are currently attainable, and that there's some kind of reward for them, not sure where that information came from. The thing about it is that it's extremely difficult to track which ones you have to figure out what's left. At first it feels like it's random nonsense and you can farm it but when they start drying up it starts getting very complicated to find the rest. I only have 130 so far and I still have a lot to do. I haven't tracked where I got them all from so I'm wandering in the dark at this point. Wondering if somebody could put up a guide eventually. Packattack had/has 198 bricks, I think?

Have there been any confirmed weird exceptions as to where you get a gold brick? As in, some really obscure and specific thing you would never think to do that got you one? Cause I haven't found anything like that and it would be valuable information. Looking for what you know.

I've definitely seen a verified dev's comment on this board that indeed mentioned that a 200 gold brick reward is obtainable in the current game's build. Unfortunately, my knowledge of the reward and its requirements end there. xD

strange tho that a game has been out for as long as it has that there is noone saying about the 200 gold brick reward .. hundreds of hours of gameplay is all over youtube and i have never seen one with 200 gold bricks ... maybe its all the crashing too desktops that stop you getting them all lol

I'm stuck at 198. I've gone in circles through the biomes, but can't find any more gold bricks. It does make me wonder if we need to find the rest of the baby dragon colors before we can hit 200 gold bricks.

anyway . its a nightmare im at 180 and i cannot easlily find them .. i do seem too find tho that if i play the earler worlds agian from time too time sometimes quite rarely one will pop up im starting too farm studs now as i want the billion achievement .. 1 billion mind .. that is such a massive number on this sort of game .. lol

Yeah, I'm stud farming while I play casually. I gather crystals for a few minutes here and there and sell at night. I just wish I could sell all 300+ at once rather than one by one until the seller takes off. I'm up to 285 million, but it's still taking longer than I'd like.

I played a little in early access, but I'm on PS4 now. My game time is up near 100 hours.

70 hours for me .. on pc .. i came into the game right away in early access and played for a very small while then waited for the release .. was happy too pay in early too help them do the game .. just a shame about all the crashes and bugs on the pc version at the moment .. but they will sort it im sure .. i posted some videos of invisible animals on youtube too .. have you ever come accross them ..

most people say its a glitch but i have seen a few about now as i walk around with my discovery gun out most of the time and the gun shows me them as in one of the vids ..

i rekon tho that the gold bricks 200 limit is prob not achievable right now .. i think they will release that in a further patch later too make the game longer lol there evil like that did you know lol ..

I'm actually working through Fantasy Forest right now, I noticed the baby dragon quests. I've seen a need for...green, blue, black, and pink baby dragons so far. And every time the guy had a gold brick. So at 198 does the guy with the weird color baby dragons carry a gold brick??

So far only Fire Dragonlings have been found. From some digging around in the code, someone came to the conclusion that you cannot find other types, yet.

After taking a picture of a Fire Dragonling for the quest, you will be awarded with a gold brick. The gold brick award will then be disabled for the other dragonling photo quests.

It got easier to get 200 gold bricks after the patch.
There are now more gold bricks available.
I have 206 at the moment.
