Red frogs and black spiders

Hey all
Can someone give me tips about how to unlock red frogs and black spiders? I see many of them but none give me the required quest to obtain them...

There are quests you need to do for them in the watchfull wilderness, and for the spider also in the weird woods.

They're marked by green dots on your minimap, so just keep visiting the green dots until you find the one that you're looking for.

Also, a lot of the green dots around the border of the world in the watchful wilderness will be cannon towers on a bluish-grey cloud - not an actual quest. They will turn purple if you visit the cannon tower, but it's not really worth it to fly all the way up there. The black spider was one of the last quests I found in the game.

Why not? dont u like 2 item chests + a few coin/stud chests + a golden apple?
Imo you should visit these untill you at least have all items & brick builds.

Imo you should visit these untill you at least have all items & brick builds.

Not the same structure; In the Watchful Wilderness half the quests are empty towers, with the only objects inside being cannons. Useful if you want to unlock the cannons, but otherwise just minimap clutter. =S

I have loaded 5-6 Large Wierd Woods biomes searching for a black spider quest. The only quest about spiders is the vampiress asking for 3 spider colors to be collected, one of which is black spiders that I can't give her. I waited until 3 black spiders wandered into the collection area, completed the quest and still couldn't 'discover' the black spider?Help please

I assume what you're reffering to is the axe rack found in a medival city near the viking lady
