Any quick select for items?

I've been really enjoying this game, but I'll often find myself unarmed an murdered pretty quickly trying to get a weapon out. Did I just miss something, or is there no quickselect?

I think arrow to the left and right is a quick select, and the arrow key to the top opens your inventory.

On your keypad (number pad) 1-4 are assigned to your Tools. If using the arrows doesn't work for you, press 4 to instantly equip the landscape gun and drop them in hole. Not many enemies are able to climb out.

Press down to re-equip your last weapon, also you can just press up and pick a weapon while running circles/away from whatever is attacking you. But yea, i do agree theres definatlly some improvements to be made, at the very least one would expect the 'tools' at the top of the item menu (camera, grapple etc) would be accessible via 1,2,3 etc
