Whats worse is that this new game is riddled with serious game breaking bugs, TT Games should've used early access as intended, let us early access players help u test your final game, dont make some weird different version just to keep early access players entertained...
Anyway to actually awnser your question you will need to give a bit more details, what gold brick? was a minifig holding it? did u find a crate? did you think you found a golden brick while it was just a random brick with gold paint? (golden bricks are super shiny when compared to the regular gold paint, and will never just sit in the world as normal bricks) did you run into the balloon lady trying to sell u gold bricks at 100.000 studs a piece? did you come across a troublemaker (little green monster that will stick his tongue out at u alot) with a golden brick?
After that its just roll new worlds till you have 100 Golden Bricks.
On first world you have to do 3 quest like jobs, but the tools unlock slowly and quite vage.
Who knows? Guess I just got ripped off with a bait and switch scheme.
And finding all the blueprints for buildings and stuff, its not really given me much to really build stuff, as I'm still missing a lot. The focus of the game has changed so much, its nothing like what it was in early access, which was a lot better.
different people have different tastes, and I still think its takes too long to unlock everything, it just spoils the game.
