Why would they limit themselves to just 2 players?
Me and my friends got this game today and we instantly dissapointed after finding out its only 2 player. How did we miss that? Because its adbertised as multiplayer and coop... We love the game, but sadly we are going to refund until they add atleast 4 players... I think its ridiculouse they dont have atleast 4 players in a world of gaming thats geared primarily on multplayer and online gaming... Seriously... SUCH A LET DOWN...

yea we got it on ps4 because of 1 person in our group that doesnt have a pc and it was seriously such a buzz kill to discover its only 2 player on console

I've seen worse in a game before.

I saw Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 has local two player split screen....awesome.... but how do I make it start? Oh just go to this machine in the start area and use it.... why can't I find it.... oh, there is only local two player on console, not PC. What? The more powerful machine has the feature removed. Game dev's, eh?

However in the case of LW on PS4, perhaps it was too much load on the console to have four local players.

im not talking about local. im talking about online multiplayer. only coop... which is a joke for a next gen game.

You do have to realise, however, that the resolution of the voxels used is much higher than other games that use similarly destructible worlds. Thus the data that is streamed over a network is far greater, including the calculations that the host and all connected client devices must perform.

Regardless, four player online multiplayer is in the works. It's just really hard to optimise for due to how much of a computational strain this extremely taxing engine that LEGO Worlds runs on truly is.

i understand its not an easy but thats one of those things that is crucial to have on a game like this.

its going to set them back on the console imo.. but they did comfirm with me on twitter that its in the works, but honestly it will probably be too late as other games will be out. me and my crew were really lookin forward to playing this, hopefully i can keep them from returning their copies so we can play when they add 4p
