Scuba Divers! How to obtain?

Pretty much title. I've searched and searched and searched, but cannot find how to unlock them. Apparently I need a quest, but I can't find these guys anywhere but in the ocean.

Has anybody unlocked the scuba divers? I'd prefer the red&black one, but color doesn't matter, so blue's fine, too.

I did, though honestly I can't remember where the first time I saw them was now as at the time it didn't matter to me - I used a different character for underwater adventures.

The skeleton and some other undead, as well as potentially others, can wander through the water without fear of running out of breath and can touch down on the surface of the ocean floor just fine.

I know I found them in the plains all over, but I think that wasn't until medium or possibly even large worlds, but I had the scuba well before that. Just keep exploring worlds and keep an eye out!

Now that I think about it, maybe it was the desert? I know many characters/animals wanted lead to water there, so it might have been the diver as well. Hopefully someone else can give you some better info =P

I'm using the swamp creature for exploration, I just want to get them all.

I've had some of those quests for other characters already, but never thought of it, so I'll check the desert. Thanks for the help!

I found a diver in the arctic/snow world ironically, they gave me a mission to build a house and then I could scan/discover them to get the diver suit.

You can wander the oceans straight from the get go with the astronauts you just need to equip the back pack.

You can't land and loot chests or discover things, though.

The diver is in the savanna biome and sometimes in the mushroom biome aswell
